An Ellicott City family of four was occupying a Toyota Camry that lost control in Ellicott City.The car accident occurred as the Camry was attempting to enter eastbound Route 100 from a ramp at Long Gate Parkway. The Toyota spun around and into highway traffic. An Infiniti FX35, driven by a Pasadena man, hit the passenger side of the Camry. The Infiniti was struck by a third vehicle on Route 100, a Toyota Corolla driven by a 27-year-old Ellicott City man.One passenger in the Camry was severely injured. The 31-year-old wife and mother was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where she is listed in critical condition. Details of her injuries were not reported.The accident victim\u2019s husband, the Camry driver, and the couple\u2019s two children in the back seat, ages 3 and 6, were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries. Both children were secured in car seats at the time of the crash. No medical updates for the three family members were reported.The 32-year-old Infiniti driver was transported to Howard County General Hospital.
